E-Check

E-Check is a convenient, online way to debit a bank account directly. To make payment by e-check log into your Student Account and click on "Make Payment". Returned e-checks are subject to a $30 fee - carefully enter routing and account numbers.

Personal Check or Money Order

The University accepts personal checks and money orders (drawn on U.S. funds from domestic banks), which should be made payable to "Wesleyan University." Please reference the student's name and WesID on the front of the check. Send your payment directly to the Student Accounts Office, 237 High Street, Middletown, Ct  06459. Returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.

If overnighting a payment use FedEX or UPS. US postal priority mail is routed through the campus mail center delaying delivery to the office by a day or two.

529 College Savings Plan Payments

The University accepts 529 college savings plan payments by check and now by electronic ACH (participating plan providers only). In most cases it's easy to request a withdrawal. You can call your plan administrator, make a request online or submit a withdrawal request form. Plan withdrawals should be sent directly to Wesleyan University. Electronic ACH is preferred if the option is presented by your provider. Otherwise, 529 college savings plan checks should be sent to: Wesleyan University, Attn: Student Accounts Office, 237 High Street, Middletown, CT 06459.

Credit Cards

Wesleyan University does not accept credit card payments for undergraduate or graduate student bills.

International Payments

To make payment via international wire log into your Student Account, click on "Make Payment", select the term balance you would like to pay and click on "International Payment". Flywire allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency. By making payment with Flywire you can track your payments from start to finish, save on bank fees and exchange rates in over 48 currencies and contact their multilingual customer support team with any questions.

Monthly Payment Plan

Wesleyan offers an interest-free, 5-month plan each fall & spring semester. The plan opens in July and payments begin August 15 for the fall semester. The plan opens January 1 and payments begin January 15 for the spring semester. An academic year 8-month plan is available for graduate students. There is a $45 enrollment fee per semester. In-Person Cash Payments

Due to the current pandemic and social distancing guidelines we are not accepting cash payments during this time. Typically, payment by cash requires that the payee provide photo ID and completion of IRS form 8300.
