This section is intended to provide students, faculty, administrators, staff, and parents with general information about mental health topics as well as resources for assistance and/or further learning. It is not meant to be exhaustive, but rather a guide for those concerned about themselves or another person. Specific Issues
Most of the time, the difficulties experienced by college students are typical developmental struggles that do not require special intervention or treatment. This is not always the case, however. College students struggle with a range of mental health issues and are currently seeking assistance from their university counseling centers at record high rates. This section is intended to provide an overview of some of the more common disorders diagnosed during the college years, but it is not exhaustive.
