Faculty Athletics Representative

Wesleyan's Faculty Athletics Representative is Fred Cohan.

Fred Cohan is a professor of biology and environmental studies and has been on the Wesleyan faculty for 36 years. He is a microbial ecologist who studies the origins of bacterial species. He has a passion for swimming that brings him to our pool frequently in cooler weather and to Miller's Pond in the summer. He is a fan of Wesleyan athletics and has been a faculty affiliate of the swimming and diving team for the last 10 years. He is now Wesleyan’s Faculty Athletics Representative to the NCAA.
