AGC.CT Two-Year Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Scholarship is available to students who are high school seniors entering a 4-year building technology or civil engineering program as freshmen, or entering at two-year technical school with a construction course of study, with the intent of entering a four-year college upon completion of the technical school.Prize: $2,500 for both their freshman and sophomore years of college tuition

Joe Liberman Connecticut Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Scholarship is available to high school seniors from Connecticut. You must plan to enroll full time in an undergraduate program at a two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming year. You must have a GPA of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). You must also demonstrate outstanding leadership potential and a record of community service. You must also include a copy of your current transcript and you must have your parents also sign the application if you are under the age of 18.
Prize: $1,500

Disabled Worker’s Scholarship
Eligibility: Scholarship is available to a high school senior that is the child of a worker permanently and totally disabled in the work place. The injury must arise out of the workplace. You must demonstrate both academic excellence and the financial need to go onto college. Totally disability must also be confirmed by a worker’s compensation final decision or social security award. You must include a copy of your transcript and your class standing. You must also include a reference attesting to your academic achievement, class participation, school/community involvement, etc. you must also include a one-page essay on anything you would like to talk about.
Prize: $10,000 ($1,250 per semester for four years)

Cindy Luberto Scholarship for Women Athletes
Eligibility: Applicants must be female high school seniors and participate in a sport that is organized, recreational or intramural. Selection is based on a 250-word essay describing the passion for the sport that is played and how that sport or your participation is unique.
Prize: $500 non-renewable scholarship, paid directly to the educational institution upon verification of enrollment in the fall semester, for use toward tuition, fees, and education related expenses.

Latin American in Higher Education (CALAHE) Scholarship
Eligibility: Scholarship is available to Latino High School seniors who have a B average. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have resided in Connecticut for at least 12 months. You must have been accepted to an accredited college or university. You must demonstrate financial need. You must complete the application process, submit an official copy of your transcripts, submit a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) that was sent to you by the U.S. Department of Education, and you must write a 2-page essay on, “How do you feel education is going to impact your ability to continue assisting others to pursue an education.”
