FAFSA - Official website for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This site can be used for filing the FAFSA. It links to FAFSA4caster where families can get an early estimate of their eligibility for federal student aid.
CSS Profile - Official website the CSS Profile. Another financial aid application that is primarily designed to give private member institutions of the College Board a closer look into the finances of a student and family. It is much more detailed than the FAFSA. Only certain institutions require the Profile.
