Research at Wesleyan
Wesleyan is a strong center for academic research, and the scholar-teacher model is core our identity as faculty. While most faculty will find that their primary scholarly resources reside outside of campus—in their professional associations, field research sites, and similar locations—we do have a number of on-campus resources to support faculty in their research. This page contains several types of resources:
- Support for Research on Campus—Find the units on campus that help support faculty research
- Research Funding—Sources of funding for faculty research
- Diverse Faculty Listing—Find scholars in your field to invite for talks, join in collaboration, etc.
- Digital Scholarly Resources—Search scholarly literature across many digitized collections
- Guide to Open Access Publishing—Guide to the different types of open access publishing, journals and book publishers where Wesleyan authors are able to publish open access without paying a fee, and sources for funding open access publishing
