Summer Session - Give Yourself Credit!
Wesleyan University offers an intensive Summer Session in which students can complete semester-long courses in only five weeks; courses are offered in June (Session 1) and July (Session 2). Wesleyan Summer Session is open to students who feel they have the academic qualifications and stamina to complete intellectually challenging courses in a compressed schedule. Featured courses include Intensives in Biology, Chemistry, and Writing. All courses have limited enrollment, preserving the small seminar style and opportunity for close relationships with faculty and fellow students that are the hallmarks of a Wesleyan education. Courses may only be taken for credit; auditors are not permitted in Summer Session courses. Residential options are available for both Wesleyan and non-Wesleyan undergraduates, as well as a select cohort of PreCollege Residential Scholars. Local precollege students (high school juniors, seniors, and PG students) are invited to attend courses as commuting students.
