Continuing Studies

Wesleyan’s Continuing Studies programs open the door to academic exploration for adult learners and nontraditional students. Whether you're pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's of Liberal Studies or taking individual courses through the Community Scholars program, Wesleyan offers flexible pathways to engage with our dynamic liberal arts curriculum at your own pace.

Undergraduate Continuing Studies

Experience the intellectual rigors and stimulating dialogue of the Wesleyan classroom through nontraditional pathways. The Community Scholars program and the High School Scholars program provide opportunities for adults and exceptional students from local high schools to engage in undergraduate courses throughout the year, offering a unique way to join the Wesleyan community.

Graduate Continuing Studies

Wesleyan’s Graduate Liberal Studies (GLS) program offers adult learners the freedom to design a customized educational path alongside Wesleyan’s esteemed faculty, earning a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies or a Master of Philosophy in Liberal Arts. With five concentrations—arts, sciences, social sciences, humanities, and education and human development—GLS allows students to pursue their passions through flexible options, including degree or non-degree study, on a full-time or part-time basis.
