    Tuition: $4,200.00 per credit

    Registration for Summer Session I closes at noon on Friday, May 24. A $100 late transaction fee will be charged for all add, drop, withdraw, or swap transactions after the close of registration.

  • Session II

    Summer 2024

    Tuition: $4,200.00 per credit

    Registration for Summer Session II closes at noon on Thursday, June 27. A $100 late transaction fee will be charged for all add, drop, withdraw, or swap transactions after the close of registration.

Payment

Please note that Wesleyan University does not accept credit cards for undergraduate tuition and fees.

  • Wesleyan Students

    You will be invoiced for Summer Session after we have received your request and your advisor's approval to register. Payment is due within 2 business days of the invoice date.

    Payment types:
    • E-payment using FlyWire through the Student Account Center in your Portal or the link in Portal/Summer Session bucket.
    • Pending Wesleyan grant aid and federal student loans (approved by Financial Aid): these will not appear on your student account until June, but are used to reduce the payment you need to make.
    • 529 plan payments: please list that as payment on your registration form.
    • Posse/VA Benefits: please list that as payment on your registration form.
  • Students from colleges other than Wesleyan

    You will be invoiced for Summer Session after we have received your request. Payment is due within 2 business days of the invoice date.

    Wesleyan University accepts e-checks only as payment for Summer Session. The University does not accept credit cards for undergraduate tuition.

    Calendar:

    • Applications open: Monday, March 4, 2024
    • Cutoff for first award letter: noon, Thursday, March 21, 2024
    • First award email: Tuesday, March 26, 2024
    • Registration opens: Tuesday, April 2, 2024
    • Applications close: noon, Thursday, April 11, 2024
      • This deadline is firm; no exceptions are granted
    • Final award email: April 16, 2024


    Eligibility:

    Wesleyan University grant aid is available to qualified Wesleyan University students. Wesleyan students should apply for aid using the application available in the Portal; applying for aid does not commit students to taking class. Summer Session does not meet full need for students; students should expect to use personal funds or student loans to meet the cost of Summer Session.

  • Students from colleges other than Wesleyan
    No financial aid is available from Wesleyan University. Please check with your college to see if you can use any funds at Wesleyan.
Refunds
  • Session I

    Summer 2024

    Please note: charges are reversed using the schedules below. Per University policy, students must request a refund of credit balances from the Student Accounts Office.

    Tuition:

    • Session 1:
      • Withdrawals received by May 28, 2024: 100% tuition charges are reversed
      • Withdrawals received by May 30, 2024: 75% of tuition charges are reversed
