Summer Session 2017 Calendar

| February 1: | Financial Aid Opens |
| March 1: | Deadline to apply for aid and receive award before registration opens |
| March 2 - April 21: | Financial Aid applications accepted |
| March 3: | Financial Aid awards for students who applied by March 1, 2017 |
| March 6: | Registration opens |
| April 21, noon: | Deadline to apply for Financial Aid |
| April 25: | Financial Aid award for students who applied after March 1 |
| April 28: |
Priority deadline to request housing Deadline to request meal plan (meal plans available for Session II only) |
| May 10: | Deadline to drop course(s) and receive a full refund |
| May 30: | Housing move-in for Session I students |
| May 31: |
Summer Session I classes begin Session I registration closes Summer Session I drop/add ends at 5pm Deadline to drop course(s) in either Session I or Session II and owe only a $500 per session withdrawal penalty |
| June 1: | Withdrawals for either Session I or Session II are no longer eligible for refunds |
| June 23: | Last day to withdraw from a Summer Session I class with a "W" on the transcript; after this date a letter grade will be assigned |
| June 27: | Summer Session I classes end |
| June 28-29: | Summer Session I final examination period |
| June 30: | Summer Session I housing move-out, except for students continuing on to Session II |
| July 5: | Summer Session II housing opens |
| July 6: | Summer Session II classes begin Session II registration closes Summer Session II drop/add ends at 5pm |
| July 28: | Summer Session II last day to withdraw from classes |
| August 2: | Summer Session II classes end |
| August 3-4: | Summer Session II final examination period |
| August 5: | Summer Session II housing closes |
