Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention
Recognizing the serious effects of alcohol and other drug abuse on the academic performance and, more generally, on the wellbeing of our students, Wesleyan has implemented various prevention measures to promote responsible decision-making, reduce the likelihood of harm, and support the creation of a healthier campus culture.
Critical to creating and implementing an effective prevention plan is involving members that represent the entire campus community. It truly “takes a university” to affect lasting cultural change on alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues. AOD prevention efforts at Wesleyan are led primarily by the Alcohol and Other Drugs Committee.
The following reports and resources are offered as a means to inform the campus community of current efforts at Wesleyan and in the field of alcohol and other drug prevention.
