APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
The goal of this program is to enroll students in a summer program, so that during the initial academic year there would be a pool of students available for research assistance and tutoring. The summer training will involve some formal instruction provided by the professional staff and interested faculty, and work on faculty research projects. In addition to providing invaluable experience for the student apprentices, this program will also produce students who are ideal candidates to serve as tutors in the Center. The program is inspired in part by the Hughes and the Christian A. Johnson Foundation Research Apprenticeship Programs; we will be developing proposals for outside support of the program in the future. If you are interested in becoming an apprentice and taking part in this generous program, please email scic@wesleyan.edu.
