Reunion Class Hotels and On Campus Housing/Residence Halls
Hotels: Special rates have been arranged at the following hotels for alumni attending their Reunion. When calling any of these hotels, please ask for a room in the “Wesleyan Reunion” block. Please note that this information is subject-to-change. We advise all alumni to make sure that you understand the hotel’s cancellation policy before confirming your room. Wesleyan cannot be held responsible for non-refundable room cancellations. A list of recommended hotels for reunion classes can be found on the Reunion & Commencement accommodations page.
A full list of area hotels is available on Wesleyan's local accommodations page.
Dorm Rooms: UPDATE ON APRIL 11. We have reached capacity for on-campus housing. On the chance that there are cancellations, we are taking names for a waitlist. Names will be added to the list in the order they are received. We anticipate being able to offer 5-10 beds ultimately, but this is not a guarantee and we will not know until just before the weekend begins. If you'd like to add your name to the waiting list, please email our student campus housing leads, Frederic Wills ’19, fwills@wesleyan.edu or Jake Kwang ’20, ykwang@wesleyan.edu with your name, class year, and the nuber of beds you will need. You will be contacted if space becomes available. In the meantime, we recommend that you reserve a hotel room or make other accommodation arrangements. A list of hotels is available at http://www.wesleyan.edu/about/visitors/lodging.html.
A limited number of on-campus residence hall rooms will be available to alumni only on a first-come, first-served basis beginning when Reunion registration opens in mid-March. There is a housing fee of $150 per twin bed for unlimited nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights). Most rooms are doubles with a few triples and there are shared bathrooms on each hall. We recommend that you reserve one bed per adult. If you are requesting to room alone, without a roommate, you must purchase two beds.
Alumni who prefer to stay on campus will be grouped by class in Clark Hall, Hewitt, Bennet Hall, and 200 Church. When you register, you will be asked who you would like to room with and near. Room assignments will be available when you arrive on campus and check in at Registration. A $50 refundable room/key deposit will be required upon check-in. Residence hall rooms must be vacated by 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 29.
Please keep in mind that residence hall rooms are basic, with little furniture or creature comforts. There are no private bathrooms. Beds are twin-sized. Basic sheets, a light blanket, a pillow, and a towel are provided, but we recommend that you bring an extra blanket, a pillow, and/or a towel.
You may also want to bring hangers, an alarm clock, a hair dryer, a mirror, an iron, and/or other amenities. Before you arrive on campus, please check the local weather forecast and plan your trip accordingly.
Regalia
Reunion regalia is included in the registration fee for all Reunion class alumni who register by the May 6 deadline. It is also included in the registration fee for alumni who register on-site while supplies last. Pickup your regalia when you arrive on campus and check in at Registration (Usdan University Center), and wear it proudly while you are on campus and when you head home after Reunion! Most classes will receive t-shirts and hats. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee availability of specific shirt sizes. In the unlikely case that regalia runs out for a particular class before Reunion & Commencement Weekend is over, pre-registered alumni will receive their regalia by mail following the event. Guests of Reunion class alumni do not receive regalia.
See Who’s Here
Check out the “See Who’s Here” board at registration in the Usdan University Center in order to find out where your classmates are staying and how to catch up with them.
Don’t Forget
Bring your camera, scrapbooks, Wesleyan memorabilia, music, and anything else that will make the weekend special. May weather can be unpredictable in New England; we recommend that you bring a light jacket and umbrella—and if you’re staying in a dorm room—an extra blanket and towel. Wesleyan’s athletic facilities and fields will be open throughout Reunion & Commencement Weekend; bring your suit/bathing cap/towel/racket/softball glove/Frisbee, etc., and check your final schedule for facility hours.
Visitors with Disabilities
The University is committed to full access and reasonable accommodations for all people. Please visit the Reunion & Commencement Accessibility section for more details.
