Travel Signatures
Having a valid travel signature on your I-20 is extremely important for you as an F-1 visa student when returning to the United States from traveling internationally. This signature from your international student advisor confirms that you are maintaining status to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer that will be inspecting your I-20. Not having a valid travel signature is grounds for the officer not to grant you admission into the U.S. Travel signatures are valid for 12 months.
Students leaving campus after finals should drop off their I-20s no later than Friday, May 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in order to receive a travel signature before leaving campus.
To receive a travel signature while on campus:
- Submit a travel signature request via the ISS Portal
- Fill out an envelope on top of the drop box in front of North College 023
- Place your I-20 in the envelope and seal
- Email oisa@weseleyan.edu to let us know that you have dropped off your I-20 for a travel signature

To request a travel signature from abroad:
