Resources at Wesleyan

Student Academic Resources

Student Academic Resources (SAR) coordinates programs for intellectual enrichment and academic support. Writing workshop/mentor, peer tutor, academic peer advisors, etc

Quantitative Analysis Center Tutor

The Quantitative Analysis Center (QAC) is a collaborative effort of academic and administrative departments. It coordinates support for quantitative analysis across the curriculum, and provides an institutional framework for collaboration across departments and disciplines in the area of data analysis. Learn about and explore our core initiatives below.

Writing Workshop

The Writing Workshop in the Shapiro Center for Writing supports Wesleyan students in all aspects of their academic writing. We train and mentor undergraduates who work to support their peers in writing across campus. Our writing tutors strive to meet writers where they are in the writing process. That may mean brainstorming a new assignment, reviewing the structure of a draft, tinkering with the details of an essay before it is submitted to an instructor, or mastering important skills. We work to support students with particular writing tasks while also cultivating spaces on campus for students to develop their voice, perspective, and values as writers.

Career Advising at Gordon Center

Mission: To establish and sustain relationships with current undergraduate students and Bachelor of Arts alumni that assist them in translating their Wesleyan education into a lifetime of meaningful work. Use Handshake to schedule appointments to edit resume, cover letter, consult about professional schools, etc

Office for Equity and Inclusion

The Office for Equity & Inclusion provides leadership and guidance to address systemic inequities for all members of the Wesleyan community.
