What do you love about Wesleyan?
Having just graduated from Amherst College, I highly regard Wesleyan’s liberal arts curriculum. The liberal arts not only foster critical and creative thinking but instill a love for learning that makes any challenge surmountable. As an immigrant, I value the celebration of diversity and the emphasis of social justice on campus.
What inspires you?
I care about constantly learning, taking on new challenges and becoming a better version of myself. I am inspired by my research on socio-economic inequality in India and I am motivated to make a difference.
What do you do for fun?
I love keeping active! Sport has played a big role in my life and most of my free time is spent playing squash, cricket, or tennis. I love hiking and, recently, I have been interested in running. When not physically active, I try to keep myself mentally active. I listen to soccer, cricket, and baseball analysis routinely and I often play poker and chess. Since graduating, I have also started to enjoy cooking.
