Heritage and Recognition Events
Throughout the year, the Wesleyan community honors and celebrates the histories and legacies of groups with marginalized identities in ways large and small. Of special note are the speakers, workshops, performances, and discussion spaces associated with heritage months, awareness weeks, and other annual days of acknowledgment—both national and Wesleyan-specific. Through these events, we gather to recognize and uplift the stories and experiences of those whose contributions have been historically minimized, and we work to ensure all voices are heard, respected, and celebrated.
