WORKERS’ COMPENSATION 

Workers’ Compensation statutes cover absences resulting from work-related injuries or illnesses. An employee who is absent due to an occupational injury or illness, or his or her supervisor, must file a report with Human Resources within 24 hours of the injury or illness. If emergency medical attention is needed because of a work-related accident, please follow the procedures outlined below.

8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Monday to Friday 

Contact Human Resources (x2100) immediately, to be referred to the appropriate treatment facility OR, if medically necessary, contact Public Safety (x3333), dial 911 or go directly to a clinic or emergency room. 

After Hours, Weekends or Holidays 

Contact Public Safety (x3333) or dial 911 immediately for assistance and referrals to the appropriate treatment facility OR, if medically necessary, go directly to a clinic or emergency room.
