• The Office of New Student Orientation will be emailing you with important information on accessing new student checklists, deadlines, pre-registration, and other tasks you should complete via the orientation website.
• The first message in mid June will include the credentials for your Wesleyan email account. You will receive weekly notes on Wednesdays from your class dean and orientation email updates throughout the summer.
• Be sure to check your Wesleyan account regularly or set up email forwarding to your primary email address so you do not miss important messages.
• As of July 6, 2022, information will ONLY be sent to your Wesleyan email address.

• If you will not have internet access, contact the orientation office at orientation@wesleyan.edu (please note the office will not be staffed until June).
• International Student Orientation will begin on August 29, 2022. Information about this will be sent to international students in June.
• Please visit our Student Engagement Website.  You can begin to learn about Student Life and the over 200 clubs and organizations at Wes.  The Orientation schedule will be posted here as well.  Once you have your Wesleyan credentials you will have more access in the site.  However, you can still begin to search for organizations and activities you are interested in and connect directly with student organization leaders.

• Housing applications will be available in the "New Student Checklist & Resources" section of WesPortal in early June.
• Complete the online application with your preferred housing options before the system closes at 5:00 PM, EST on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
• The June 1 Housing deadline is for continuing students only. Incoming students do not need to complete housing information until July 5.
• Housing assignments will be posted through WesPortal in mid August.

• All incoming students must upload completed health/immunization forms by July 5 via our electronic portal.  Please go to www.wesleyan.edu/healthservices/office/forms.htm. and find instructions and forms to download for immunization/health compliance.  Your Wesleyan email credentials should be available in early June.  Once you have your credentials, please upload forms at https://wesleyan.medicatconnect.com.  Follow instructions on the landing page.
• Please make sure you have records to show compliance with mumps, measles, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox) and updated meningitis vaccination as well as tuberculosis screening.  You must also show proof of having a recognized CDC Covid vaccination and booster shot.
• Completed health information and immunization records must be on file with the Davison Health Center before you can register for classes.
• All students will be charged for University insurance the first week in July; charges will be reversed for those with waivers showing comparable private insurance.
• Go to gallagherstudent.com/wesleyan to waive or enroll in University insurance. Health insurance waivers are due by August 15.

• International students will be scheduled to see a nurse as part of International Student Orientation to review immunization records.
• Parents are welcome to visit the Davison Health Center or contact us by phone, but students over 18 years of age are entitled to full medical information privacy protection. The Health Center can discuss details of evaluation or treatment only with the student’s signed consent.

• WesPortal is a secure system that allows students online access to their course schedule, grades, academic history, student accounts, Moodle (a web-based tool for sharing course assignments and materials), and more. You will be sent a WesPortal account in early June.
• The ITS student helpdesk provides phone and on-site technical support for student computing issues.
• Wireless network access is provided throughout campus. Residence Halls , upperclassman housing in woodframes and program housing have wireless only connectivity to the Wesleyan network on Eduroam.
• Cardinal Service Center (CSC) is located in Exley Science Center and offers computer repair services for both Apple and PC computers: (860) 685-2700

• The Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore is located on Main Street in Middletown. RJ Julia Booksellers provides students with all of their course materials, apparel, gifts and school supplies. Follow them on instagram @wesrjjulia for up to date information.
• The Campus Store in the Usdan University Center is a second location of the RJ Julia Bookstore.  They carry technology, apparel, school and dorm supplies.  They are an Apple Authorized Campus Store but they also sell Dell and Windows computers/accessories.  Follow them on Instagram to know about Apple's back to school promotion as soon as it's announced @wescardinaltech. 
• Both stores accept Middletown Cash and Student Account for payment!  Place an order online for items from either store at www.wesleyanrjjulia.com for home shipping or for pick up in either store.
• The Campus Store in Usdan is a required stop during orientation check in!  Order your bedding, computer, command strips, and anything else you need for in-store pick up for a hassle-free arrival day.

• You need to upload a 2"x2", front facial photo of yourself, without wearing sunglasses or a hat, and not using filters to be used on your WesCard by July 1. The photo can be uploaded in WesPortal under "New Student Checklist & Resources".
• You can pick up your WesCard on Arrival Day when you check in for Orientation.
• You can also choose to load your WesCard with "Middletown Cash", an optional debit account that you can use on and off campus for various retail items such as books and supplies at RJ Julia Bookstore or at Cardinal Tech, Wesleyan's Campus Store, at Usdan, and also for services such as mailing, vending, and dining out.

• Student Accounts issues e-statements one semester at a time for tuition, fees, and the residential comprehensive fee.
• Your first electronic statement of the academic year is sent in July and is payable within 30 days. When statements are ready to be viewed online, an email will be sent to your Wesleyan email address and to your Authorized Users.  (You can set up your parents, guardians, or others as Authorized Users through your Student Account online.)
• Students and Authorized Participants can make payments via e-check; personal check or money order; and wired international payments through Flywire (for payments from outside the United States) or direct bank wire. For direct bank wire instructions, contact student-accounts@wesleyan.edu.
• Wesleyan University does not accept payment by debit or credit card.

More Information:

• Five Month Payment Plans allow families to finance each semester of university costs.  Each semester, there is a $45 enrollment fee; no interest is charged.  The fall plan begins on August 15 and may cover standard charges for the fall term beginning in September.  For more information, visit the Student Accounts website.

• You must submit final transcripts to the Office of Admission NO LATER THAN JULY 1.
• First-year students: Ask your secondary school counselor to submit your final transcript either electronically through the Common Application website (Final Report Form), via email to applicant@wesleyan.edu, or mail to Office of Admission, Wesleyan University, 70 Wyllys Avenue, Middletown, CT 06459.
• Transfer students: Ask your current institution to send a final transcript to Wesleyan’s Office of Admission.

• If you have not submitted official test scores, you will be required to do so before you arrive on campus this fall.
• All ACT, SAT, and/or SAT subject test scores (if taken) must be submitted.
• Contact the appropriate testing service to have official score reports sent to Wesleyan University (our ACT code is 0614; our SAT code is 3959).
