Reserving Spaces on Campus

The vast majority of spaces on campus can be reserved online in your ePortfolio. Just click "Room Request (EMS)" in your eportfolio to browse available spaces. You may also reserve space by contacting the Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development (SALD).

If you need additional furniture or A/V equipment that does not exist in your desired space, you will need to make these requests in your portfolio or by meeting with a staff member in SALD no later than five business days prior to the event.

For large events involving extensive services in spaces in Memorial Chapel or Beckham Hall, requests must be made at least three weeks prior to the event in order to be approved.

Spaces which are not booked by SALD are as follows:

  • Spaces in the Center for the Arts (CFA) - Contact Barbara Ally (x2076) or Hanna Oravec (x2687) - You will need to fill out this form
  • Spaces in the Freeman Athletic Center & Athletic Fields - Contact Kirsten Carlson (x2895)
  • Residence Hall Spaces - Click here
  • Program House Spaces - Contact the House Manager

Many spaces on campus have costs associated with using them. Regardless of the desired location of your event, it is a good idea to meet with staff in SALD to discuss the budget for your event, the feasibility of your desired location, as well as capacities and other details.
