Andrew Leland
Andrew Leland is a writer, audio producer, and editor. His book, The Country of the Blind: A Memoir at the End of Sight (Penguin Press, 2023) was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, and named a best book of the year by the New Yorker, the Washington Post, the Atlantic, NPR, and others. His journalism has been published in the New Yorker, the New York Times magazine, New York magazine, Art in America, Radiolab, 99 Percent Invisible, the New Yorker Radio Hour, and elsewhere. He is a contributing editor of the Believer magazine, and he hosted and produced the Organist, an arts and culture podcast from KCRW and the Believer.
He lives in Western Massachusetts with several adorable creatures.
