Apply

We are excited you are considering applying to Wesleyan!

We will walk you through every step of creating and filling out your application, including what you need to know if you are a first-year, transfer, international, or first-generation student.

If you have any questions as you go, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Admission team—we are here to help.

Converging + Emerging

We believe we are all stronger for the endless ways our paths converge, overlap, and align here. We find the freedom to let our truest selves emerge when we are accepted for who we are, and who we’re becoming.

Together, we make Wesleyan, Wesleyan—and you can become part of our story, too.

Holistic admission: tell your story, your way

At Wesleyan, we look for the story your application tells about your achievement and potential, in light of the academic and social resources available to you. We’re looking for:

  • Intellectual curiosity: Are you curious about almost everything? Do the questions interest you as much as the answers? Do you dream of the ways you can change the world? Are you willing to change your mind? Then you may be a great fit for Wesleyan.
  • Academic Commitment: We’re looking for intellectual risk-takers who possess the ability to succeed in a broad, rigorous academic environment, take full advantage of the opportunities available to them, and go above and beyond what’s expected simply for the sake of learning.
  • Collaborative spirit: Our community is committed to working toward the greater good—and that’s a commitment we want you to share.
