Merry Christmas!

Dear Friends,

As we prepare to celebrate the beautiful solemnity of Christmas, we pause to give thanks for all of the gifts and blessings we have received this past year, and we pray that our "little town of Wesleyan" will be touched by the peace, joy, and love of Christ's birth.

Our Catholic community at Wes continues to grow and flourish. Last year nine students celebrated the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, and this coming year we anticipate another five. Whether we "dash for life" in a 5-K road race, hop the train to New York City to view the 9/11 Memorial, ski down a snowy mountain slope on retreat, or simply come together for Eucharist, we do so with the grace of Emmanuel--"God with Us." We strive each day to reflect Christ's "everlasting light" to our Wesleyan community andto a world in desperate need of healing and hope.

This Christmas may the One who was born in the "little town of Bethlehem"--the "House of Bread"--become your "Bread of Life," fill you with His peace, and reward you for your presence, prayers, and witness to His love.

Love and prayers,

Father Bill
