OISA COVID-19 Updates
The Office of International Student Affairs has temporarily adapted the services we provide because of the current pandemic. This is to ensure the safety of both students and staff. We understand the current situation has many students facing unanticipated changes in their academic and personal lives, and we are working to meet the needs of our students while practicing social distancing.
In the current situation, OISA has at least one staff member working on campus in North College during university open hours. All other staff members are working remotely. You may continue to submit information or have any questions answered by emailing OISA at oisa@wesleyan.edu. We also encourage you to reach out to us during our drop-in hours.
Current Service Adjustments
Drop Box
On-campus students should submit any original documents to OISA through the Drop Box located in front of North College 023. This includes Form I-20s that need travel signatures. Students should fill in the label of an envelope provided, insert their document(s) into the envelope, and place the envelope in the Drop Box. It is important to email oisa@wesleyan.edu to inform OISA that you have dropped off your documents.
After your document(s) are processed, OISA will email you with instructions about picking up your document(s) from the Office of Public Safety at 208 High St, Middletown, CT 06457. Be prepared to show the Public Safety officer your WesCard, your university identification card.
Online Drop-In Hours
OISA is providing drop-in hours three times a week where students can receive guidance from an international student advisor. These virtual drop-ins help on-campus students to practice social distancing and remote students have their questions answered from anywhere in the world.
Fall 2021 OISA Drop-In hours to be announced.
New Chat Feature
During drop-in hours, OISA international student advisors will also be answering questions through our new chat feature, which can be accessed from the floating red chat icon at the bottom right corner of the page. This is a great way to have simple questions answered in real time. During non-drop-in hours, you may email your questions to oisa@wesleyan.edu.
