Floyd Scholz's Carvings

From a Great Horned Owl to an Eastern Meadowlark, Floyd’s bird carvings are full of detail. Each feather and talon is individually carved and painted, and the finished birds look like they might just take off and fly. It takes Floyd about a week to complete a small songbird, and up to a year to finish a large eagle. (Check out the photo of a real bird meeting one of Floyd’s carvings!)
