Project Manager: Robert Schmidt · Progressively independent living through the consolidation of student housing · Reconnect the campus through the development of an open space network · Strengthen the coherence of the Wesleyan Community, and to support academic, social, and cultural activities Project Details: Fauver Field Residences are to be located at the corner of Vine Street and Cross Street on the Wesleyan University campus. The Project consists of two buildings which are LEEDS certified: One Frosh Residential Hall with a total of 166 beds (80 doubles, 6 singles and one Area Coordinator apartment), and an Upper Class Residential Hall with one hundred four beds. The new residence hall will house up to 270 students within the two structures and will be approximately 85,000 gross square feet. The Frosh Residential Halls consist of double bedrooms off a central corridor with a Residential Assistant room per floor, and one apartment unit on grade level. The Upper Class Residential Hall room configurations will be “suite style” (5 residents sharing one bathroom, living room and kitchen), and two Resident Assistant (RA) suites with private baths within the Upper Class building.
