366 Minutes: A Year of KKTO’s "Minute/Year" in Olin Library

Artists Kata Kovács and Tom O’Doherty present a talk at the closing of their sound installation Minute/Year (2016–present), which was installed in Olin Library throughout 2024. The U.S. premiere of the work was presented by Wesleyan's World Music Archives and Music Library, in collaboration with Professor of Music and Director of Graduate Studies Paula Matthusen. The project used the repeated recording/playback/re-recording of sound in a space to reveal the resonant frequencies of the venue.
