Ebony Singers Winter Concert

$8 general public; $7 senior citizens, Wesleyan faculty/staff/alumni, non-Wesleyan students; $5 Wesleyan students, youth under 18.

The Wesleyan University Ebony Singers present an inspirational evening of traditional and contemporary gospel music conducted by Marichal Monts '85. This joyful event is great for the entire family.

The Ebony Singers provides students an opportunity to study African American religious music through the media of performance, consisting of traditional gospel, contemporary gospel, spirituals, and hymns in the African-American tradition. Members of the group are chosen by audition.
