Be among the first to hear Loss of Life, the fifth studio album by MGMT, the musical group formed at Wesleyan in 2002 by Andrew VanWyngarden ’05 and Ben Goldwasser ’05. The psych-rock duo's first studio album in six years will be released on Friday, February 23, 2024This Thursday’s advanced preview will feature Loss Of Life in its entirety, preceded by a short introduction.

MGMT’s Loss Of Life is the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Little Dark Age, being released Feb. 23rd from Mom + Pop Music. Andrew VanWyngarden ’05 and Ben Goldwasser ’05 produced the 10-track project with Patrick Wimberly (Solange, Lil Yachty, Joji) and longtime collaborator Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Spoon) mixing the new album.  Loss Of Life includes the three recently released critically acclaimed singles and videos “Mother Nature,” “Bubblegum Dog,” and “Nothing to Declare.” 

PLEASE NOTE: No tickets are necessary; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is only open to Wesleyan University students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
MGMT will not be in-person at this event.
Event will begin promptly—there is no late seating and latecomers will not be admitted.
Attendees are kindly asked to stay for the duration of the album (45 minutes) to avoid disruptions.
