Wesleyan University Orchestra Children’s Concert: Our Favorite Childhood Fairy Tales
Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 3:00pm

FREE!
The Wesleyan University Orchestra presents their tenth annual children’s concert under the direction of Visiting Instructor of Music Britney Alcine. Before our beloved fairy tales of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, and others were made into films, they were ballets and operas. These were the ways composers like Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Humperdinck, and more were able to tell the stories we all know and love today. Come hear the Wesleyan Orchestra play selections of pieces telling these stories and others.
