Navaratri Festival: Concert Broadcast No. 1

As part of the 44th annual Navaratri Festival at Wesleyan, WESU Middletown 88.1FM will broadcast concerts from the archives. The first concert to be aired is from Wesleyan's 24th annual Navaratri Festival on September 13, 2000 and features T.Viswanathan on flute and vocals, Trichy Sankaran on mridangam, G. Harishankar on kanjira, A. Ananthakrishnan on violin, and Harish Neelakandan on supporting vocals performing Karnatak music in Crowell Concert Hall. Adjunct Associate Professor of Music David Nelson will introduce the broadcast.

Each program will be available to stream from WESU's show archives for two weeks following the initial broadcast.
