The Wesleyan Music Department will feature the work of seniors Leo Merturi ’20, Rodrigo Roman '20, and Charlie Schine '20 on WESU Middletown 88.1FM. This program will also be available to stream from WESU's show archives for two weeks after the broadcast. WESU will be airing "NetBlipz," a new series that puts a spotlight on the remarkable skills and imagination of the Wesleyan Music Department, every other Thursday starting at 4pm. The next episode will air on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 4pm.

Leo Merturi's senior thesis music recital, "COPVRIGHTS: an illegal expression of art protected by creative commons," was held on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Ring Family Performing Arts Hall.

Charlie Schine's senior recital on Friday, April 3, 2020 and Rodrigo Roman's senior recital (featuring his work "Principios") on Saturday, April 4, 2020 were both canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both events were to be held in World Music Hall.

The video above documents what was meant to be Charlie Schine's performance. The piece is centered around co-creation and audience participation, which makes it impossible to represent accurately in a fixed media format. With that in mind, Charlie Schine sees this video less as a finished product, and more as a blueprint (or score) for future performances.
