Contemporary Japanese artist Tabaimo has exhibited her immersive, thought-provoking video installations around the world. At Wesleyan, she collaborates with choreographer Maki Morishita on the multimedia work Fruits borne out of rust. Join us for a short video screening and a moderated conversation with the artist about her inspiration, sources, creative process, and collaborations. Tabaimo and Maki Morishita: Fruits borne out of rust will be performed in the Center for the Arts Theater on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 7:30pm and Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2pm.
