A senior music recital by Harrison Nir '19. Tel is hebrew for a man-made mound, where the height of the Earth is a measurement of the depth of historical presence. The tel is a well plump with material time: symbolic of the ancient, of the scale of geological memory beside the architecture of the present. "In Tel" is a senior music project that attempts to engage the symbol of the tel through space and sound, featuring a number of installations inspired by field recordings taken in Israel and Palestine in the winter of 2018-19.
