“Introduction to Dance” and other beginning dance students perform works of various styles, including Bharata Natyam (South Indian classical) and jazz, under the direction of Associate Professor of Dance Pedro Alejandro, Associate Professor of Dance and Chair of the Dance Department Katja Kolcio, Associate Professor of Dance Hari Krishnan, and Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance Joya Powell.
