A student-led initiative to educate about and celebrate the South Asian Navaratri Festival with the Wesleyan community. A festival that reflects on the battle between good and evil, Navaratri is observed in most parts of South and Southeast Asia through different festivities. A student panel that represents many areas in South Asia will create the hearty communal feeling that Navaratri brings to families every year with open discussion, good food, and lively facilitation.
Hosted by Shakti, Wesleyan's South Asian Students' Association, as part of the 42ns annual Navaratri Festival at Wesleyan.
