A senior music recital by Jackson Anthony, a film screening of “Aide-- - Memoire..” This short film is about Wesleyan’s Winslow-Kaplan Professor of Music Emeritus Mark Slobin, who, in his final semester of a 45 year tenure, revises and preserves a collection of rare recordings from his dissertation research in Northern Afghanistan. Shot on the same Super 8 camera that Professor Slobin used in 1969, this film features a series of new interviews and an original score by the director.
