Fifth annual Bach to School opening of the concert year by Artist in Residence and University Organist Ronald Ebrecht, performing music from his globe-spanning concerts, including works by Johann Sebastian Bach (the highly virtuosic Prelude and Fugue in e minor BWV 548, The Wedge); César Franck (Choral in b minor), and Franz Liszt (Fantasy and Fugue on the Theme B-A-C-H). Mr. Ebrecht will also perform his arrangements for organ, double bass, percussion, and vibraphone of works from the suite Pink Music, composed by John Spencer Camp Professor of Music Neely Bruce, accompanied by percussionist Richard Dart and bassist Rodger Bryan.
