Fernando is an international student from El Salvador, prospective double major in Computer Science and Economics. Outside of academics, he is passionate about soccer, chess and drumming. Back home, going to the beach is one of his favorite activities.
So far, Fernando has been heading up a project to research and compile a comprehensive list of Wesleyan’s recipients of major fellowships. Some of the records trace back to the early twentieth century and Fernando is working with the staff of Wesleyan University’s archives at the Olin Library to integrate detailed information into the database he is compiling. Throughout the spring, look for Fernando tabling in Usdan to raise awareness of fellowships opportunities among students of all class years at Wes.
