How to Register - Students on Study Abroad or Leave

Registration process

If you are currently participating in a fall study abroad program or are on leave for the fall term and will return in the spring 2020 term, and would like to register for a for-credit Winter Session course:

1. Email your advisor and copy winter@wesleyan.edu with the following text from your Wesleyan email account:

I would like to register for __________________________ course for Winter Session 2020. My WesID is _________. Please email winter@wesleyan.edu from your Wesleyan email account and let them know if you approve my choice.

I have reviewed deadlines and policies specific to Winter Session, available at wesleyan.edu/winter. I have read, understand, and agree to abide by all of the policies in the Wesleyan University Student Handbook found at wesleyan.edu/studenthandbook. I understand and accept my obligations as outlined in the Honor Code. I understand that providing false information on this form violates the Honor Code.

2. If you are currently on leave, please reach out to your class dean for permission to return for Winter Session. Your dean may need to submit a DAF form to the Registrar's office for early return to campus.

3. Review ResLife's procedures for obtaining housing for the spring 2020 term and complete all necessary forms by the stated deadlines: http://wesleyan.edu/reslife/ugrad_housing/StudentsReturningfromStudyAbroad.html

4. Request housing for Winter Session using the form available in your student portfolio portal.

5. Submit pre-payment of the $3,500 tuition through the Student Account Center, less any Winter Session grant aid you were awarded.

Please be aware that we cannot discuss your student account with your parents if you have not set them up as authorized payers. Log into Student Account Center through your student portfolio and select "Manage Account Access". Granting access will allow your guest to receive all e-billing notifications, make payment on your behalf.

6. Once we have your email, approval from your advisor, and payment in full, we will process your registration and email you a confirmation of registration.

7. Please email winter@wesleyan.edu if you have any questions.

Students must sign up for housing and dining separately; forms for each will be available in the portal.
