Notes from the Field: A Writers’ Workshop
Maybe you’ve taken notes, written drafts or have an idea for a story. Maybe you’ve told a story to an audience of family and friends but wonder how to shape the facts into a compelling piece of fiction or memoir. In this six-week writers’ workshop, you will be given the structure to begin, revise, or continue a piece of writing. We will cover the basic elements of craft—scene and summary; characterization; point-of-view, voice and tone. You will receive support and feedback from the workshop along with weekly writing prompts, reading material, and hard candy.
