Subject: Storm Updates - Sunday Feb 10

Dear Students,

As you can see from walking around campus, Physical Plant and the Grounds crew have been working around the clock to clear accumulated snow, but the job is a huge undertaking and we ask for your continued patience.  Priority has been given to clearing access to student residences and clearing sidewalks so that students will not have to walk in the streets.  Heavy equipment is being used for snow removal so please exercise extreme caution.  We urge you to avoid building forts or otherwise being in the piles of snow in campus parking lots or near City streets as those working with plows and other heavy equipment may not be able to detect you.

If you happen to interact with any of the members of the Grounds crew, Physical Plant, Public Safety or Bon Appetit today, please thank them for their efforts over this weekend – many of them have been working extraordinarily long hours (and even sleeping on campus!) on your behalf.  Below are some updates on campus services for today:

Stay warm and safe!
