Dear Wesleyan Community,

In response to the current racial climate on campus -- especially in the wake of the offensive Anonymous Confession Board posts, the Public Safety alerts, and incidents of racial profiling -- a group of concerned students, faculty, and administrators will be hosting a forum, "Diversity University": In Theory and In Practice, on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12 AT 7:30 PM - 9 PM in BECKHAM HALL. This forum will provide an open space to discuss community members' questions and concerns about the aforementioned issues.

The forum will feature a panel of students, faculty members, and administrators. Panelists will include: President Michael Roth, Chantaneice Kitt '13, Dorisol Inoa '13, Jalen Alexander '14, Evan Okun '13, Professor Alex Dupuy, Professor Elizabeth McAlister and Public Safety Director Dave Meyer. Sonia Manjon, the Chief Diversity Officer at Wesleyan, will be moderating the panel.

We have set up a questionnaire for community members to anonymously submit questions, comments, and concerns that they would like to be posed to and discussed by the panel. The questionnaire can be found by clicking this link:

The moderator will pose questions and concerns submitted anonymously, and field questions and concerns directly from the audience.

We hope to see you there.
