Dear Students and Faculty Colleagues,

 

In the fall of 2010, Vice President Sonia Manjon and I convened a task force of students, faculty, parents, and administrators to recommend improvements in Wesleyan's response to sexual violence on our campus.  The task force issued their recommendations at the beginning of the Spring 2011 semester, and President Roth asked me to oversee their implementation.  Since then, my team has worked closely with student leaders on initiatives to raise awareness and to better support survivors.

 

While there is still work to be done, I thought it important to provide an update on our collective efforts.  Toward that end, our implementation report has been posted to the Campus Climate Log website at http://www.wesleyan.edu/studentaffairs/wellbeing/climatelog/submitform.html (The link to the report is on the left of the landing page.)
