Information from Residential Life:
Although most students will not select their housing for next year until April, there are a few earlier deadlines of which to be aware.
Program House selection begins with the information fair on February 11 and applications are due by February 25. Wesleyan offers 32 different program houses, which range in size from 5 to 25 residents, and each has a different theme. More information about the program houses can be found at http://www.wesleyan.edu/reslife/ugrad_housing/programhousing/programhouses.html.
Any students who require specific housing accommodations due to medical reasons or a disability should contact the Office of Residential Life in February, so that we may assign them before the room selection process begins.
Lastly, Wesleyan requires students to live on campus throughout their undergraduate careers, unless they meet one of the following criteria: 25 years of age or older, married, or have children. Students who meet any of these criteria and wish to request off campus status need to apply by February 18. The application will be available on the Office of Residential Life website, http://www.wesleyan.edu/reslife/ in early February.
Information about the General Room Selection process can be found at http://www.wesleyan.edu/reslife/ugrad_housing/grs_info.html. Wesleyan does not charge a housing deposit for the following year, as all students are required to reside on campus.
For those of you planning ahead, undergraduate housing closes at noon on Saturday, May 14. Housing closes for graduating seniors on Monday, May 23 at 4:30 p.m.
Housing remains open during Spring Break.
