Meet the SALD Student Interns

The Student Interns are an integral part of the Student Activities & Leadership Development team and help to empower Wesleyan students to increase their impact, not only as leaders but ultimately, as citizens of the world. By offering unique opportunities for leadership education, we strive to foster personal and group development while also enabling students to share this knowledge with their peers.

Hi Everyone! My name is Taylar Clark and I was born and raised in East Orange New Jersey. I am a current sophomore on the track of double majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience and Behavior. I love it here at Wesleyan and the relationships I made here are great. The culture here is very excepting and I always feel free to pursue whatever dreams and ambitions I have. Wesleyan’s liberal education helped me find what I was truly passionate for, while also delving into other subjects that I found interesting, such as African American Studies and Children’s literature. Along with being the Leadership Intern, I am also a member of the WesMass Program which helps students from underrepresented backgrounds excel in the STEM department, and I tutor fourth graders at one of our local elementary schools. I am very excited to meet every one of you and hear about what you all would like to get out of your Wesleyan experience. Feel free to email me at tclark@wesleyan.edu.
