1. Room Assessment (March 2014):

a) Room dimensions.

We will need to run a 75ft. Cable.

e) Type of ceiling, and consultation with physical plant for potential asbestos.


f)  Current distance from the projector to the cart, podium, closet, rack, or cabinet.


g) Current projector throw distance.
h) Current number of working data jacks. 

5 functional jacks in the main area behind the rack. There are two standalone data jacks. One works and one doesn't. (So 6 functional data jacks in total)


i)  Current location of the telephone.

j)  Current condition of the projector mount, pipe and base.  

k) Evaluation of the current speakers.

l)  Current electric screen switch location.

Behind the screen, next to the rack.

m) Current light switches.

n) Wall and floor conditions after removing the old rack, electric or manual screen and in some cases moving the speakers.
Covering the rack with wood/locking the door to the rack.
o) Potential ceiling problems with the new electric screen installation.

q) Instructions for IMS team to leave in one piece some of the data and/or speaker cables.  
r) Evaluation/destination of the old equipment and hardware (like trays, computers, computer housing, projector mount, etc) for repurpose.

s) Instructions how to save the telephone, included cables, mount and other parts.
t) All the old cables will be storage in a central location TBD for future recycle or disposal. 
u) List of tools that will be required to tier down the old installation.
v) Instructions for the IMS team to tier down the old installation. 

2. New Design Logistics (March 2014)
