Support and Reporting Options
If you have experienced interpersonal violence, or know someone who has, there are many options for care and support
Supportive Measures
Supportive measures are non-disciplinary, non-punitive individualized services, offered as appropriate, as reasonably available, and without fee or charge to either the Reporting Party or the Responding Party.
They can be offered before or after filing a formal complaint, or where no complaint has been filed. They are designed to restore or preserve equal access to Wesleyan's educational programs or activities, and they will be designed so as not to unreasonably burden the other party.
They can include, and are not limited to:
- Course-related extensions and adjustments
- Additional academic accommodations
- Arrangements for group projects
- Coordinating with faculty for support
- Class schedule adjustments
- Mutual no-contact agreements
- A no-contact agreement is a document outlining ways that two or more people need space from each other.
- You do not have to formally report what happened in order to access this supportive measure.
- You do not have to have contact with the other person/people to access this supportive measure.
- This can be facilitated virtually.
- It is facilitated through the Title IX Coordinator, Debbie Colucci
