Qualifications/Description:
| The Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement & Events is seeking two (2) motivated students to work with a team of professional staff on a variety of event support tasks. The main focus of this position is supporting Reunion & Commencement and Homecoming/Family Weekend. The intern will work closely with 2-3 additional student interns and APEE staff. Interns will be responsible for hiring R&C and HC/FW student workforce, managing, training and scheduling of student work force, onsite registration, operations hub (includes weekend deliveries, shuttle dispatch), inventory, and more for these multi-day events. Professional development opportunities exist.
Qualifications include:
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Interest and willingness to learn and utilize Millennium database, Cascade website management program and Wesconnect (alumni website).
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Flexibility and a good attitude a must
Possible multi-year position for right candidate
Worked during R&C or HC/FW weekend a plus

| 8-12 **Please note that additional hours will be required leading up to the big weekends and working those weekends is a must!** |
