Qualifications/Description:

Handy-person, Mr./Ms. Fix-It. A great job for someone who
wants a complete break from the Wesleyan routine and has hands-on
building skills for small repair jobs. Work with the technical
director to maintain our costume collection, storage spaces and tech
shop. Assist in building and painting of theatrical sets, hanging
lights, and other production work. This is NOT a custodial
job, but requires a person who enjoys the challenge of fixing things,
painting, etc.
Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater was founded in 1975 by
Wesleyan students and has grown into one of Connecticut's
premier youth arts organizations, an independent non-profit
annually serving over 1000 children from throughout central
Connecticut. Oddfellows Playhouse's mission has three parts:
1. Artistic- To provide high-quality theater by and for
young people
2. Educational - To promote the gowth of young people - in
skills knowledge and self-confidence - through the
performing arts
3. Social Action - To offer special opportunities to
underserved youth in order to promote a multicultural
society
Oddfellows is close to campus, and is a great place to make
a difference in the community and in the lives of young
